Thought for the week: Ways to be Happy

When we are relaxed, calm, and feeling happy it revitalises the body and keeps it fresher and healthier.
Ways to be happy:
- Waking up and express gratitude and appreciation for your body
- Play music that you really enjoy
- If you have one, stand in your garden and appreciate it
- Take an afternoon nap! I love my afternoon naps and no longer make myself wrong for choosing them
- Go for a walk in nature
- Dance around the house
- Watch a feel good movie or program that always puts a smile on your face
- Watch a comedian that you enjoy listening to
- Call a friend that you enjoy talking to
- Keep a list of things you have achieved, and celebrate them every week
- Spend time quietly meditating for about 5-10 minutes each morning
- Watching an inspirational you tube video
- Listen to a guided meditation or energy healing session
- Stop yourself the moment you notice you’re judging yourself, and instead move your focus to something you appreciate (that’s one of the main reasons I keep fresh flowers in the house – I always enjoy looking at them, regardless of my mood)
- Eat food that your body enjoys and stop when it has had enough
- Explore new ways of moving your body that are fun for you
- Take up a new hobby and teach yourself a new skill
- Wear clothes that your body really enjoys
- Take a bath and relax
- Spend time away from social media and the computer regularly
- Don’t take your phone to bed with you.
