Thought for the week: Candles
Candles have been proven to soothe us. The gentle, mesmerizing quality of the light helps us to calm down and even achieve a meditative state.
The smell of the scented candle stimulates the part of your brain which is connected to memory and mood. For example, certain scented candles can help reduce feelings of fear and anxiety, reducing stress, lifting mood and increasing self-awareness.
