Affirmation:
I am wonderful.
Thought for the week: Think and speak kindly about yourself
If someone spoke to us the way we speak to ourselves a lot of the time, we would give them short shrift. So why do we torture ourselves? Ask yourself, do I have a home crowd in my head cheering me on, or am I my own worst enemy by judging myself at every turn.
You have the power and you can change your thoughts and words second by second. It can be done gradually by monitoring your self-talk, making sure it is supportive and uplifting for yourself and others.
The words we use in our everyday life have power. They can either destroy or build relationships with ourselves and other people. Getting mindful of our self-talk is one of the best forms of self-love and self-compassion. So let us choose our words wisely.
