Mistakes are teachers. I accept the lessons they offer.
Thought for the week: Making Mistakes
Being wrong or making a mistake doesn’t make you a bad or unworthy person. Everyone makes mistakes it is how we learn. If man didn’t have the courage to take a risk and learn from his mistakes imagine what might not have been achieved.
As babies when we started to walk, and we fell, we didn’t say to ourselves ‘I’m such a failure’. We got up, did it again and kept going until we succeeded. This beating ourselves up is a learnt behaviour and can be changed.
Making mistakes is a part of life and getting you to where you want to be. The important thing is to learn from your mistakes. Treat life like an adventure that way at least you will have an interesting time.
In the words of Samuel Beckett: “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.”
