Joy is in my heart and in my life
Thought for the week: Joy
The dictionary defines joy as a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. Imagine what your life would be like if you truly understood that the sole purpose of your life is joy?
Throughout your day please give attention to your feelings. Always try to reach for the best feeling that you can at any given time. If you are having an unpleasant experience, please don’t give it too much of your attention. Instead become aware that you have the power over your thoughts and emotions at all times.
I do know that it is difficult to go from an unpleasant emotion straight to joy. So the best way to reach for joy is to think about something in your life that sooths you. Then work your way up from there to Joy.
